The retreat where curious programmers recharge and grow

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We have built a self-directed, educational retreat where programmers from novices to experts come to improve their skills in a community focused on learning and collaboration. Participants come to spend time programming, get feedback, and grow without formal classes. The experience is free because we run a recruiting agency alongside it and offer personalized job placement services to our community members who want them.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in New York, NY. After YC we plan to keep the company based here as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Being based in New York means we are at the intersection of a large tech community and a diverse set of programmers who benefit from our retreat. This location gives us access to a strong local network and enough critical mass of participants to build our community.
