What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built teevoxRemote, an app that turns an iPhone or iPod Touch into a remote control for Hulu and Netflix. It lets users quickly pick shows, sync viewing with friends remotely, and control play/pause and volume. The goal is to simplify and enhance the streaming experience without clunky hardware remotes.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in Cupertino, CA, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Cupertino is near the heart of tech innovation and where most of our team lives. Staying here keeps us close to our early users and video streaming service developments.
