What RADAR does

RADAR is an RF Sensing platform built to automate and augment retail store processes. Our technology offers unprecedented speed and location accuracy, which allows stores to: 1) Manage inventory efficiently, through automated inventory counts, improved in-store replenishment and instantaneous customer stock checks 2) Eliminate checkout lines altogether through our autonomous checkout tool. 3) Measure all customer-product interactions, giving physical stores the same insight into consumer behavior and product performance as online stores.

RF sensing tech to automate retail stores

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build an RF sensing platform that automates and improves retail store operations. Our product automates inventory counts, speeds up restocking, eliminates checkout lines with autonomous checkout, and tracks customer interactions with products in store - giving brick-and-mortar retailers insights usually only available online.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York City, and the company is based in New York, NY, USA now and would remain here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We're based in NYC because it puts us close to major retail partners and lets us recruit engineers and business talent familiar with the retail space. It's also where we've built our initial team and customer relationships.
