We built Protent to provide security and law enforcement teams with real-time video intelligence that detects early escalation patterns and predictive threat signals. Our system analyzes live video feeds to identify incidents escalating before they become critical, giving operators context to prioritize and respond faster. Unlike typical surveillance, Protent flags actionable threats in the moment, helping intervene before situations spiral out of control.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live in San Francisco, and after YC, Protent will remain based here to stay close to potential customers and security partners in the Bay Area.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where the security tech ecosystem and many law enforcement agencies converge. Being based here helps us engage directly with users and iterate quickly based on feedback.
