What Mezli does

At Mezli, we're building "auto-kitchens", fully autonomous shipping-container restaurants that serve great, affordable meals for takeout and delivery. While at Stanford, the three of us got fed up with having to either cook every day or spend $10 or more for healthy options like Chipotle, Sweetgreen, etc. So, we decided to democratize access to healthy, convenient food by building Mezli.

We build "auto-kitchens" - fully autonomous restaurants inside shipping containers that prepare healthy, affordable meals for takeout and delivery. These kitchens combine robotics and food prep automation so customers get good food without paying $10 or more or having to cook at home.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Mateo, CA, and plan to base the company here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Being in San Mateo puts us near the highest concentration of robotics talent and robot-friendly regulation. It also places us close to early customers and delivery infrastructure.
