Social mapping service for mobile phones
We built Loopt, a mobile service that lets people share their real-time location with friends and discover nearby events, places, and people. It runs on phones, helping users decide what to do or who to meet nearby, solving the problem that people don't know what's going on around them or who's nearby at any moment.
We live in Mountain View, CA, and the company is based here now and would remain here after YC.
Mountain View is where our team is already located. Being in the heart of Silicon Valley gives us access to key talent, investors, and network effects essential for our growth in mobile and social tech.
