What HoverChat does

HoverChat is an app focused on making messaging more of a multi-tasking experience and allow users to use the messaging service without interrupting their work flow. The app is currently available on Android phones.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built HoverChat to make messaging less disruptive by letting users handle messages while working on other tasks. Our Android app shows messages in a way that doesn't force users to switch contexts, so they keep their flow while chatting.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Santa Clara, CA, and the company would be based here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We built HoverChat here because we're all local and this is where the tech ecosystem and potential partners are. Staying in Santa Clara keeps us close to users and the fintech community.
