What HelpWear does

HelpWear is striving to better at-home healthcare by developing affordable and accessible products for patients all around the world. Affordable 24/7 at-home heart monitoring

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building the HeartWatch, a device that monitors heart activity continuously at home. It includes an embedded emergency contact system to alert caregivers or medical help if abnormalities are detected. Our goal is to help patients prevent serious heart events and improve treatment by giving them accessible, ongoing monitoring outside clinical settings.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Toronto, ON, Canada and plan to base the company there after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Toronto is where we are based and where we have our technical and clinical contacts. Staying here allows us to focus fully on product development without relocation delays.
