What Heimdal does
Heimdal builds machines that permanently capture and store atmospheric CO2. We are building technology that profitably captures CO2 with this tax credit, right here in the United States. We build direct air capture machines that permanently remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Our first product, Bantam, is the largest DAC facility in the US, designed to operate profitably by taking advantage of existing carbon tax credits. It captures and stores atmospheric CO2 at the lowest cost per ton globally.
We are based in Denver, CO, and plan to remain here after YC.
Denver gives us access to a skilled local workforce and proximity to the US carbon markets and industrial customers interested in carbon removal. It's a practical place to build and deploy DAC technology in the US.
