We built DirectShifts to connect healthcare workers - physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals - directly with hospitals, clinics, and telehealth companies for their next short or full-time job. The product simplifies the hiring process in healthcare staffing, letting facilities find qualified professionals quickly and letting workers find gigs or jobs that fit their skills and schedules.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York is a hub for healthcare providers and talent. Being here lets us work closely with both healthcare workers and facilities to solve real staffing problems effectively.
