What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Darsel, an AI-powered chatbot that provides K12 math practice and homework support over SMS, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger. It's designed for students in resource-constrained environments where schools lack digital infrastructure. The chatbot lets students interact in familiar messaging apps to get help with math, supplementing their education where teachers and resources are scarce.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work remotely. After YC, we plan to remain remote since our users are distributed in developing countries and the team works best autonomously.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Operating remotely lets us stay close to the markets that need us without the cost of relocation. It also suits our five-person team spread out geographically and lowers overhead so we can focus on product development and users.
