What Cakework does

We make it possible to build a serverless cloud platform that hosts custom user code with just APIs and no infrastructure team. For example, an open source framework can build a cloud offering that deploys their users code from Github or local dev environments in days instead of months.

API that adds cloud hosting to developer platforms

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We've built an API that lets developer platforms add cloud hosting directly. Instead of building infrastructure themselves, platforms like open source frameworks can deploy user code from GitHub or local environments in days, with no dedicated infra team. Basically, we turn any dev platform into a serverless cloud host via APIs.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Seattle, WA, and plan to base the company here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Seattle has been our home and where we started the product. We want to keep close to our network and the talent here while building remotely connected.
