What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built BlackOakTV as a subscription-based video platform specifically for Black audiences and creators. It helps Black viewers easily find and watch video content that reflects their culture and life experiences, while giving creators direct access to that audience. The product combines content curation, community, and subscription management geared toward this underserved market.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, and the company is based there now and will remain based there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York is where we live, and it's a hub for diverse creators and cultural communities close to many of our users and collaborators. Being here keeps us connected to our audience and the creators we serve.
