We Mine Asteroids

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We develop spacecraft and robotic systems that mine asteroids by breaking them up in space, refining them there, and returning only valuable materials to Earth. Our approach reduces the cost and complexity compared to bringing back entire asteroids.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We're currently based in Los Angeles and Huntington Beach, California, and we plan to keep the company here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Southern California gives us access to aerospace talent, suppliers, and a strong space tech ecosystem, which is critical for building and testing our industrial space mining hardware.
