What Aquarium Learning does
ML models are only as good as the datasets they're trained on, and that means that most improvement to model performance comes from improvement to the quality and diversity of their datasets. Our tooling makes it easy for ML teams to find anomalies + failure patterns in their datasets and fix these problems by editing / adding the right data. So the next time you retrain your model, it just gets better.

Improve ML models by improving datasets
We build tooling that helps machine learning teams identify problems in their training datasets - anomalies, failure patterns, missing examples - and then directly edit or add to the data to improve model performance on retraining. Our product surfaces these dataset issues and makes fixing them faster and more precise.
We live and work primarily in San Francisco and remotely. Post-YC, the company would remain based in San Francisco with remote team members.
We're based in San Francisco where there is a strong AI and startup ecosystem and proximity to many ML teams who could benefit from improving their datasets. Remote work also lets us tap talent more broadly.
