By solving our customers' most urgent problem - illiquidity between paychecks - our cash advance business is a cheap, but profitable and repeatable hook that builds distribution for a broader challenger bank. This represents a $9 billion revenue opportunity in Canada.

We are building a challenger bank for Canadians who live paycheck to paycheck. Our initial product offers interest-free cash advances to solve illiquidity between paychecks. This gives users fast access to funds without fees, and we monetize through optional tips and a same-day express fee. Over time, we will expand into a broader challenger bank offering.
We live and are based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and plan to remain based here after YC.
We are based in Vancouver because that's where we live and know the Canadian market well. Being local helps us understand our customers' financial struggles and regulatory environment.
