Trexo was started when Manmeet found that his nephew was born with Cerebral Palsy and would never be able to walk. What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build wearable robotic exoskeletons designed to help children with disabilities, especially Cerebral Palsy, to walk. Our device supports their body and assists movement, enabling many kids to take their first steps and get exercise otherwise impossible. Our long-term vision is to replace wheelchairs for a wider range of users, including adults and the elderly.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Toronto, Canada, and the company is based here now. Post-YC we would remain based in Toronto.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose Toronto because that is where the founders are and where we have access to talent, specialized medical partners, and early users. It makes sense to build and test locally with the children who need our product.
