However, DTC brands can't afford to do this, and they don't have enough customer data to make the conventional recommendation approaches work. Suggestr uses innovative multi-modal AI technology that sees and understands products (needs 100x less data), allowing it to work with brands of all sizes (SME, mid-market, enterprise). The solution takes less than 30 minutes to integrate and helps merchants increase online store revenues by up to 10% with AI-driven upsells and cross-sells.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a no-code personalization tool for Shopify merchants that uses AI to recommend products, create bundles, and upsell. Unlike typical recommenders, our AI understands product visuals and metadata with far less data, making it accessible to small and mid-sized brands that don't have massive customer histories or in-house data science teams.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and are based in Singapore and plan to keep the company there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Singapore is where we currently live and work. It's a hub for e-commerce businesses and provides access to the growing Asia-Pacific Shopify merchant base, which fits our initial target market.
