Cloud Native SIEM alternative to Splunk/Elastic

We are building Matano, a modern SIEM platform built for cloud-first security teams. Instead of using costly traditional SIEM databases like Splunk or Elastic, we use a Security Data Lake as the backend to store and analyze security data reliably and cost-effectively. Our product ingests logs and security events, enabling detection, investigation, and response workflows optimized for modern infrastructures.

Shaeq is based in Seattle, Samrose is in San Francisco, and after YC the company would maintain presence in both locations to leverage our networks and talent.

We chose Seattle and San Francisco to cover important tech ecosystems. San Francisco is a hub for security teams and startups, while Seattle gives us access to solid engineering talent and a growing security scene.
