Whitenoiseの事業内容

Whitenoise is like a social network for the music industry. It comes with specially made tools for bands, agents, publicists, and venues to manage each part of their business. Bands will be able to manage their cross country tours by map, using a venue search to find gigs in any town they're passing through. Venues will get access to a full list of artists in their area along with samples and ways to reach their agent to book a show.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building a social network designed specifically for the music industry. Bands can manage their tours with a map-based interface, search venues in towns they plan to visit, and handle bookings. Venues get access to local artists, including samples and contact info for booking agents.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA, and would keep the company based here after YC.

San Francisco is home to many music and tech companies, plus our potential users and partners. Staying here helps us stay close to the market and talent we need.
