We built a software tool that gives patrol officers crucial, tailored information about people with mental illness during encounters. It includes personalized de-escalation techniques and service referral options to help officers keep interactions safer and connect individuals to appropriate support.
We live in San Francisco, CA and plan to base the company there after YC.
We live in San Francisco because it's a major tech hub with access to public safety agencies and health organizations, which are our primary users. Staying local helps us engage directly with early users and iterate quickly.
