What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

Platzi is an online learning platform focused on technology skills like design, marketing, and programming. We teach live and recorded courses with real-time collaboration between students and industry leaders as teachers. Our platform encourages community and has a 70% course completion rate, which is rare in online education.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live and work distributed across San Francisco, Santiago, Mexico City, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima and remotely. After YC, the company would be based in San Francisco.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose to base the company in San Francisco post-YC to be closer to technology investors, partners, and the global tech community. Our team remains distributed across Latin America and Spain to serve our audience effectively and maintain our roots.
