Notable Labsの事業内容

Notable Labs is building a personalized drug discovery platform to identify treatment options for relapsed and refractory cancer patients - starting with blood cancer - to address the long tail of cancer treatment. We look at a person’s actual cancer cells, test combinations of FDA approved drugs, and see which combinations kill the cancer cells and leave the healthy cells alive. We focus on combinations because cancer is often difficult to target with just one drug and starting with a single drug can lead to resistant clones or relapse. We're building a highly automated lab in Foster City running on our custom software and are currently testing relapsed/refractory cancer patients as well as samples from a variety of pharma/biotech partnerships.

Personalized drug discovery for blood cancer

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building a platform that tests a patient's own cancer cells against combinations of FDA approved drugs to find treatments that kill the cancer and spare healthy cells. We focus on relapsed/refractory blood cancer and run a highly automated lab in Foster City with custom software. We help doctors and patients get personalized treatment options where standard therapies have failed.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in and operate out of Foster City, CA. After YC, the company will continue to be based there.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Our lab and team are local to Foster City, and it's where we're scaling our automation and working directly on testing patient samples and pharma partnerships. We have the specialized instruments and setup here that can't be moved easily.
