We built Nextop IO, a mobile CDN that improves how mobile apps connect to their backends. It's a client-side library for iOS and Android that uses a network of proxies with a custom protocol to speed up delivery, increase throughput, and reduce data and battery use. We also provide metrics so developers can see connection quality and debug issues in their apps.
