We built a unified API that integrates a data lakehouse, dataset and model lineage, feature store, ontologies, and bio-registries and formats. Our product helps biology teams query, trace, and validate large datasets and machine learning models reliably and at scale. It automates context for both human scientists and AI agents so they can understand biological data and workflows without losing provenance or consistency.

Our team is distributed; we've designed Lamin to be location-agnostic and serve global biology and healthcare data teams remotely. We will maintain this approach after YC to focus on finding the right users and building the product quickly.
