PadMapper is a location-based apartment rental search engine with real-time filtering. PadMapper's entire browsing interface is taken up by a full-screen map, and listings are loaded as the user moves around the map. Zooming into the map loads more listings in that area, zooming out broadens the search. Listings are filtered out or allowed back into the results as filter sliders are moved. Apartment listings from hundreds of sites are included, including Craigslist, Apartments.com, ForRent.com, and Oodle.

We built a location-based apartment rental search engine where the entire interface is a full-screen map. Listings update in real time as you move or zoom the map, and you can filter listings dynamically with sliders. We aggregate apartment listings from hundreds of sources like Craigslist and Apartments.com to give users a unified search experience that helps them find rentals visually and quickly.

We live in San Francisco and the company would be based there after YC.

San Francisco is where we live and where the tech and real estate markets intersect, making it the natural place for PadMapper to grow.
