Catch accidental database exposures before the bad guys

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a tool that continuously scans for accidental exposures of databases and data stores. It alerts security teams before outsiders discover their sensitive data. Our product automates monitoring data surfaces that are typically missed, protecting companies from major breaches caused by configuration errors or overlooked weaknesses.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

I live and work remotely. Observa is currently a remote company and would remain so after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Working remotely fits the early-stage, lean setup of Observa. We have no office because the product is software-based and the market is distributed. This keeps costs low and lets us hire talent wherever it is.
