What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a VR app that helps people with chronic pain by turning their biometric data - heart rate and HRV - into visuals they interact with while using a $5 VR headset and heart rate sensor. Our app guides users through experiences that cut their pain by nearly half, something backed by NIH research. It's like Calm, but specifically for pain management at home.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Los Angeles, and the company will be based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Los Angeles is where all three of us live and work. We're deeply connected to the local healthcare and tech scenes and can recruit talent here easily. It's also where we've built relationships with early users and the NIH.
