What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Zip Phone as a voice messaging app that works like Whatsapp but focused solely on voice. It lets users send and receive voice messages quickly and easily, solving the problem of slow, unreliable phone calls and the inconvenience of typing out long texts. Our product targets people who want to communicate more naturally and efficiently with voice over mobile devices.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

Currently, we do not have a fixed location; the company is remote. After YC, we plan to base the company where it makes the most sense operationally and technically, likely near Silicon Valley.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We started without a fixed location to focus purely on product development. Post-YC, being close to other startups and investors in Silicon Valley will help us grow faster and access resources and networks crucial for scaling.
