We are building Zenbu, an IDE designed specifically for orchestrating coding agents. It lets developers and their teams shape the environment to fit their workflows exactly, managing and customizing how AI coding assistants collaborate and execute within their projects.

Rob lives in San Francisco, CA, and the company is based remotely with a home office in San Francisco. It will remain based there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We are remote-first but centered in San Francisco because that's where Rob lives and can collaborate locally when needed. Being in SF keeps us connected to the engineering and startup community YC is part of.
