We built Warrant to be an open source authorization service that centralizes and simplifies user authorization and access control. It lets developers plug in a dedicated platform instead of building complex access control systems from scratch, so engineering teams focus on their core product instead of user permissions.
We are distributed across Los Angeles, San Francisco, and remote locations now. After YC, we plan to remain flexible but maintain hubs in LA and SF.
We spread between LA and SF because that's where the team lives and a lot of our early customers are based. Remote lets us tap talent not limited by geography.
