What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We make a diagnostics platform that uses engineered CRISPR enzymes to perform syndromic testing during doctor visits. Our product delivers comprehensive results in minutes, replacing the slow, fragmented testing process with a single rapid test. The core is a hard tech biosensor designed for point-of-care healthcare settings.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Diego, CA and Urbana, IL. After YC, the company would continue to be based in these two locations where our teams and labs are.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Diego and Urbana are where our founders and key scientists are located, and both have the biotech talent and labs we need to engineer enzymes and develop diagnostics hardware. Being remote split keeps us connected to critical resources and our research.
