We built Take App to simplify commerce on WhatsApp. Our product turns WhatsApp into a storefront where businesses can easily manage orders and customers can shop without leaving the chat. We focus on reducing friction in WhatsApp ordering, making ecommerce accessible to small and medium businesses that rely heavily on messaging for sales.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We are based in Singapore, with a remote team. After YC, we'll continue to operate out of Singapore and remote locations.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Singapore is our base because it's a hub for Southeast Asia where WhatsApp commerce use is growing fast. The team is distributed remote but rooted in Singapore's business environment and ecosystem.
