What Splashup does

Splashup, formerly known as fauxto, is an online image editing service that provides some advanced tools and is unique for its incorporation of image editing layer effects. The site is still in beta, and so does not offer full editing capabilities yet.

We are building Splashup, an online image editing service that offers advanced editing tools including image layers with effects. It works in the browser and targets users who want more than basic photo tweaks but don't want to install software.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We don't have a fixed physical location now. After YC, we plan to base the company wherever it makes sense to grow the product and team.

We haven't settled on a permanent location yet. After YC, we expect to be flexible about location depending on resources and opportunities to build the best product.
