What Spiral Genetics does

Spiral Genetics (YC W19) makes genomic data mining software to compare large populations of whole human genomes. Our customers are genetics testing companies, governments of countries, and pharma companies. We train our machine learning algorithms to enable large scale comparison of genomes to power novel discoveries, enabling new diagnostics and drugable targets.

We build software that compares large populations of whole human genomes to find patterns and variants useful for genetics testing, pharma research, and government projects. Our machine learning models help analyze and compare genome data at scales difficult for existing tools.

We live and work in Seattle, WA, and plan to remain based there after YC.
