We built Postal to give businesses a real, official mailing address that can be used for government, IRS, and vendor communications. Our product receives physical mail, uses AI to scan and summarize it, and recommends compliance actions. We also connect businesses to service providers through our marketplace to handle mundane compliance tasks that often get missed. It replaces risky use of apartment and shared office addresses and helps companies avoid missing critical mail or breaking compliance.
We live and work in New York, NY, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.
New York is where our team is located and where we have the strongest access to our initial users and compliance industry partners. It also positions us near a large concentration of businesses that rely on official mail and compliance workflows.
