What Pelica does

Pelica is the AI-native operating system for value-based care organizations. We unify claims, EHR, pharmacy, lab, and ADT data into one live record and put an AI copilot next to every team that depends on it: quality/Stars, pharmacy, care management, provider network, and risk adjustment. The copilots don't just surface insights. They do the work, from engaging members for preventative care using multi-channel communications to preparing provider field reps with everything they need before they walk in the door. So teams spend time on relationships, not admin.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build an AI-native operating system for value-based care organizations. Our product unifies claims, EHR, pharmacy, lab, and ADT data into a live patient record and pairs every team - quality, pharmacy, care management, provider network, risk adjustment - with an AI copilot. These copilots go beyond insights to actually perform tasks, like multi-channel member outreach for preventive care and arming provider reps before visits, freeing teams to spend time on relationships instead of admin.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live in San Francisco, CA, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where our team is rooted and where the healthcare IT ecosystem is active. Being close to our early customers and talent makes the most sense for building Pelica.
