What Ninite does
The BaseShield App Store is a distribution platform for Windows software. Users can download and install applications with one click, and each application runs in its own secure virtual space. It is an open platform where third party developers can publish their applications. Developers who deploy their apps this way can rely on the built-in installer, update function, security and eventually payment processing.

Simple third-party app patching and deployment for Windows
We built Ninite to make installing and updating Windows apps one click. It's a platform where third-party developers can publish their software, which runs in isolated virtual environments for security. Users get a single, simple installer that keeps apps updated and secure without manual intervention.
We live and work in San Francisco, CA, and the company would stay based here after YC.
San Francisco is where we are now and where most of our network and early customers are based. Staying here keeps us close to the tech community and potential partners.
