What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built an open source platform that automates building virtual networks on WireGuard for distributed systems like Kubernetes clusters, cloud and edge devices, and IoT. Our product creates fast, secure network overlays that are on average 10x faster than existing solutions. Basically, Netmaker acts like a virtual private cloud tailored for distributed architectures.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Asheville, NC. After YC, the company would remain based here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We're rooted in Asheville where both founders live. There's strong technical talent here, and being outside a major tech hub lets us focus on building without distractions.
