We built Mergent as a task scheduling API that lets developers easily schedule and manage background jobs like notifications, data processing, and integrating with third-party services. Our API is simple and well documented so developers get started fast without wasting time on infrastructure or reliability issues.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

I live in Austin, TX, and the company is based here but operates remotely.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Austin is home, and we stay remote for flexibility. It's a good tech hub and the team is solo for now, so no need to relocate or centralize yet.
