What Medmonk does

Medmonk is a technology platform that helps fight non-adherence. It enables pharmacists to provide financial assistance to patients who are unable to pay for their medications. We partner with pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, physicians, and health plans to improve outcomes by promoting access to chronic therapy. Medmonk is based on the premise that it's in everyone's best interest for medications to be used regardless of price. Patients get the care they need, insurers are protected against larger claims, and pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies get maximum use of their medications.

We built a platform that pharmacists use to locate and secure financial assistance programs for patients who can't afford their medications. It connects pharmacists with pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, physicians, and health plans to reduce non-adherence due to cost. Our product is focused on improving access to chronic therapy by removing financial barriers for patients.

We live in Milpitas, CA, and the company is based there now. After YC, we plan to keep the company in Milpitas.

Being in Milpitas places us near key healthcare and tech hubs in the Bay Area, which is essential for building partnerships and scaling our platform with pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies.
