What Lucible does

Lucible is a combined checking and investment account that allows you to invest 100% of your money while still being able to spend it. Whenever you spend, we issue a loan in real time, using your investments as collateral, to cover the cost. This is the most capital and tax efficient way to manage your money. It's what the ultra wealthy already do to finance large purchases, and now you can do it for every day spending.

We built an account that merges investing and spending. Investors keep 100% of their money invested but can spend anytime via a real-time loan that uses their investments as collateral. This removes the common tradeoff between liquidity and growth, making money management more efficient for people who want to invest everything while still using funds daily.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York City, and after YC we will continue to be based here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

NYC is a major fintech hub with access to financial talent and early users who fit our target: people already familiar with investing but frustrated by current bank structures. It's where our expertise and network are strongest.
