What Libretto does

Libretto is an open-source CLI that lets agents turn website workflows into fast, reusable scripts you can deploy The problem: Most browser automation tools work by sending an AI agent to operate a website in real time, like a robot typing and clicking on your behalf. This is slow, expensive, and unpredictable. They rely on fragile DOM parsing that breaks on legacy and complex sites, and you can never fully trust what the agent will do on unintuitive or inconsistent workflows. Our approach: Libretto helps your coding agents generate workflows as actual, readable code during development, not at runtime. Under the hood it combines Playwright with direct in-session network/API calls for reliability and bot detection evasion. It also supports step-through debugging and a read-only mode to prevent accidental data changes while your agent builds and debugs workflows. This makes Libretto cheaper, faster, and easier to maintain, especially for more complex websites and high stakes workflows.

Turn website workflows into reliable APIs

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Libretto, an open-source CLI that turns website workflows into reusable, reliable scripts. Unlike typical browser automation tools that act like AI robots clicking and typing in real time, Libretto captures workflows as readable code during development. It mixes Playwright-driven interactions with direct network and API calls under the hood, making automation faster, cheaper, and more stable, especially for complex or legacy healthcare sites.
