What HauteDay does

A community that finds the best new items in fashion. Each day, HauteDay focuses on a specific fashion theme that our community then organizes into a shoppable collection. One of the most exciting aspects to HauteDay is that we are bringing attention and customers to some of the most innovative and up and coming fashion brands from around the world.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a community-driven platform where each day focuses on a specific fashion theme. Our users discover and curate new items into shoppable collections. This turns shopping for women's fashion into a daily game of finding the best and most innovative pieces, often from emerging brands worldwide.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Carlsbad, CA and the company is based here. After YC, we would likely remain in Carlsbad or move closer to the Bay Area for better access to tech and fashion networks.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We started in Carlsbad because it's home for us. The area is not typical for fashion startups, which means less distraction but also fewer resources. YC would help us connect to the resources and networks we need.
