New projects

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a fitness app that uses the iPhone and iPod Touch accelerometer to track user motion. It gives real-time feedback to help people stay active and meet their fitness goals. The app is social - you connect with friends to cheer each other on and compare progress. As you and your friends get more active, you level up and unlock new content. FitFu works anywhere, no gym or console needed, so you can exercise at home, work, travel, or even on a boat.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and built the company in Ringwood, New Jersey. After YC, we would stay based there to keep working closely together.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Ringwood is where we both live and have built the product so far. We aren't tied to a major city since FitFu is remote-enabled and focused on mobile, so staying in Ringwood lets us focus on building without relocation distractions.
