What Ethos Space Resources does
Ethos makes silicon on the Moon to power terawatt scale data centers. The Moon's surface is 21% silicon. We melt and electrolyze the lunar surface to make raw materials for solar panels. With solar panels made from the Moon, the constraint that limits data center scaling and everything else in space is gone.

We make silicon on the Moon for space solar panels.
We build lunar silicon manufacturing systems that turn the Moon's silicon-rich surface into raw material for solar panels. Our product enables solar panel fabrication on the lunar surface, supplying power for terawatt-scale data centers and infrastructure in space. By making silicon in situ, we remove the biggest bottleneck for building and powering things off-Earth. We're working to close the space energy gap using only what's already on the Moon.
We live in Los Angeles, CA, and the company will stay based here after YC.
LA has a big aerospace and hard tech community, with access to suppliers and talent in this field. Staying in LA lets us stay close to manufacturing and research partners as we scale.
