What Eden Robotics does

We're building robots that just work and use them to deliver autonomous services at scale. Our first use case is semi-humanoid robots for manufacturing and logistics. Unlike traditional robotics companies, we don't sell robots, we provide physical agents for hire where companies pay for the robots based on usage, decreasing the barrier to entry and expanding the robotics market as a whole.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build semi-humanoid robots that companies can rent by usage to automate tasks in manufacturing and logistics. Instead of selling robots, we provide them as autonomous service agents. Our robots operate physically on site and handle processes that are often manual or hard to automate traditionally.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA, and plan to keep the company headquartered here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco puts us close to robotics hardware suppliers, manufacturing customers, and key talent. It's where both of us already live and where the industrial automation ecosystem is going.
