What Dailybot does

Dailybot is the coordination platform for software teams where people and AI agents work side by side. As engineering teams increasingly operate alongside multiple AI agents - coding agents, incident responders, research assistants - the gap between what's being worked on and what the team can actually see has become a critical problem. Dailybot closes that gap. Teams use Dailybot to run async standups, check-ins, retros, and custom workflows directly inside Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and Discord. In Dailybot 3, those capabilities now extend to AI agents: every agent can report progress, surface blockers, and be monitored in a dedicated observability layer - all attributed to the humans who delegated the work. The platform combines four capabilities: structured check-ins and forms in chat, AI-powered summaries and blocker detection, no-code workflow automation, and agent infrastructure (API, CLI, open-source skill pack, fleet monitoring). We built a coordination platform that brings visibility to software teams by combining async standups, check-ins, and custom workflows inside Slack, Teams, Google Chat, and Discord. Now, it also integrates AI agents to report progress and blockers, letting managers see what both people and AI agents are doing without extra meetings or dashboards.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live remote, with our official base in Oregon, USA, and the company remains fully remote after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose remote to build a distributed team and serve global software teams where they actually work - inside chat platforms. Being based in Oregon keeps us in the US market but our remote model scales internationally.
