What Commery does
Commery makes it easy for commercial tenants to find their perfect space, whether it is retail, industrial or office space. Instead of browsing a list of available spaces like Zillow, tenants can publicly list their commercial space requirements (sqft, location, use case, etc.) and receive inbound from brokers and landlords who have spaces that are good matches. By listing demand first, tenants can even source off-market spaces that aren't publicly available yet.

We built Commery as a marketplace connecting commercial tenants directly with brokers and landlords. Instead of tenants endlessly browsing listings, they publicly list their space needs - sqft, location, use case - and get inbound interest from landlords including off-market options. It flips the traditional search from supply-led to demand-led, making the process more efficient for retail, industrial, and office tenants.
We live in New York, NY. After YC, the company would be based in New York with flexibility for remote work.
New York is where we found the biggest pain in commercial leasing and where our initial users are. Keeping the company here keeps us close to the market and landlords we work with.
