Dr. Wheelwright is also the author or co-author of more than a dozen other books. He has a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Utah and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. In addition to his Harvard and Stanford positions, he served on the faculty of INSEAD (European Institute of Management) in Fontainebleau, France. He has consulted in the areas of business and operations strategy and improving product development capabilities. He currently serves as a Board member at O.C. Tanner Company (service awards), at Zions Bank (banking), and at the Polynesian Cultural Center (cultural attraction and entertainment venue adjacent to BYU-Hawaii campus).
